OUR PAST EDITORS

Over the last few years we have had some fantastic editors, who have created a wonderful environment and culture. An organisation is nothing but its team.
Yamini Pustake Bhalerao joined us as an opinion writer and later led the platform on its content journey. When she left after five years she said, "I would like to thank you for taking in a budding author and giving me opportunities to learn and develop my skills not only as an Opinions Writer but as an editor too. This organisation gave me more than skills, it also gave me interactions, work ethics, and guidance that will be a part of my life forever."

Ratan Priya was nearly straight out of Asian College of Journalism when she joined SheThePeople and later went on to a role at The Print. "The last 19 months I spent here have been all about learning. I never imagined myself taking on a leadership role but with your motivation I was able to give my best. I moderated a talk with award jury members, I went out reporting, I edited thousands of copies, I wrote thousands of them."

BE AN INTERN

We love interns and interns love us. We do fun stuff, explore new ideas, interview successful and rising people, connect the dot and share their wonderful stories with others. An internship is a minimum of 3 months with minimum of 16 hours per week. The benefits of this are that you get a lot more responsibility and have a much bigger say in how the organisation evolves. And there are several opportunities to be part of exciting and new events that we are engaged in. You’ll also get first hand experience of what it’s like to work at one of the most exciting platforms in the region. It's not a problem if you don't live in India; we are interested in volunteers and interns from across the world who are interested in supporting our mission to empower women.
