Delhi University professor Nandini Sundar and 10 others have been booked for the murder of a tribal villager in the insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, the police said Tuesday, as reported by Hindustan Times. As per the police statement, a complaint was lodged against Sundar (48) on Saturday, by the wife of Shamnath Baghel, who was killed in Sukma district on November 4.
“We have registered a case against Nandini Sundar and others under sections 120B , 302 of IPC and 147, 148, 149 of the IPC at Tongpal police station based on the complaint of the wife of the victim,” said Sukma additional superintendent of police Jitendra Shukla.Here's how the reactions are playing out on Twitter:
