Technology has played an important role in development of safety. Number of new technologies are invented every year which are aiming to improve safety for common people. For example, an app for anyone who is worried about walking home alone. A person can choose any person from their contact who can track their location as they journey home. This application is best for women travelling home alone.

A recent WHO survey provided that 35 percent of women globally go through abuse and physical violence, which is very traumatizing. Women in every corner of the world can be taught about how to protect them from such violence digitally. And such measure can be taken by Government itself.

Astrong technological infrastructure should be built in government agencies that should response to public emergencies immediately, soas to ensure public safety. There are more technologies which are trying to ensure our safety by adding more innovation to it, like Facebook is trying to improve more safety in its features to ensure safety of individual privacy.

Technology may not be able to solve all of our safety concerns, but it certainly making a difference. All we can do is give that technology a chance and keep following the advice “BE CAREFUL OUT THERE”.
