After an actor accused Kevin Spacey of harassing him when he was underage, Netflix has announced that it will end Spacey-starrer, 'House of Cards'.
The show is one of the company’s most popular series and will end in 2018. The show’s creator, Beau Willimon, release a statement, calling the sexual harassment allegations ‘deeply troubling'.
"Anthony Rapp’s story is deeply troubling. During the time I worked with Kevin Spacey on 'House of Cards', I neither witnessed nor was aware of any inappropriate behaviour on set or off," Willimon wrote.

It started to occur to me: What am I supposed to do if I ever work with him?” Rapp said in the report. “What am I supposed to do? What do I do?!”
Spacey’s 'Emmy Honor' has also been rescinded. He will no longer be honoured at the 2017 International Emmys with the Founders Award.
Spacey has apologised publicly to Rapp. He called his behaviour “ deeply inappropriate” and said he was beyond horrified. He also used his apology to come out as a gay man
Widely Criticised
The fact that Spacey used his apology to come out has garnered criticism from across social media and Hollywood.
“It is deeply sad and troubling that this is how Kevin Spacey has chosen to come out,” Quinto wrote in a statement on Twitter. “Not by standing up as a point of pride -- in the light of all his many awards and accomplishments thus inspiring tens of thousands of struggling LGBTQ kids around the world <-> but as a calculated manipulation to deflect attention from the very serious accusation that he attempted to molest one.”
