Woman Performs Marinelli Bend Sustain Body Weight By Mouth Grip: People shared their amazed reactions by leaving a number of responses to the amazing video.
A video of Anastasia Evsigneeva performing the Marinelli bend, a type of contortion pose, has gone viral online. The video shows her biting onto a mouth grip to sustain her whole body weight. According to LadBible, Evsigneeva grew up in Russia and now lives in Canada with her husband.
How Anastasia Evsigneeva Started
Evsigneeva began practising contortion as a child, and she did so while doing various household chores. The 28-year-old began contortion as a child while using the computer or peeling vegetables, and by the age of five, she was more versatile than her classmates. She didn't give it much thought but later realised when her choreographer pointed out that she should be careful while bending.
Anastasia Evsigneeva said, "The full realisation came when I was 17 and dancing in a theatre in my home town." That's when the choreographer told me not to bend too much more than the others - especially in backbends."
According to sources, she was so talented that she mastered one of the most complicated and risky movements, the Marinelli bend, in only a few days. The Marinelli bend requires the performer to carry their whole body weight with just their mouth while their legs come over their head.
"There is a risk of fatality, " Anastasia Evsigneeva said. It is very risky as people's necks can be injured, which can lead to spinal cord injuries. She quoted, "My coach warned my husband that people have died doing it and he was quite terrified." Evsigneeva claims that although it was initially painful to do, it ultimately went away and she was able to do it with relative ease.
Anastasia Evsigneeva now shows off her incredible skills to her Instagram followers. People reacted to the video in a variety of ways, with the majority showing surprise.
