Jodhpur: Due to rising cases of COVID-19, the Rajasthan Government has imposed section 144 in Jodhpur which will last for a month.
The restrictions on public gatherings will stay till March 21 in Jodhpur city due to the sudden spike in infections. Only 100 people can gather in public including weddings. Essential services such as schools and colleges will stay open, Jodhpur police said.
Restrictions have also been imposed in Maharashtra, due to the rise in positive cases. Passengers coming to Jodhpur from states such as Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujrat will have to go through thermal testing. A high alert has been issued in adjoining districts.
