The Common Entrance Exam (CEE) for army recruitment has now been postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in Punjab.
The exam was supposed to be held on April 25 at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium Jalandhar for candidates coming from districts such as Kapurthala, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawanshahar), Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Tarn Taran.
A statement from the army said that the CEE was actually meant for those candidates who were declared medically fit after the Army Recruitment Rally. The rally was held from January 4 2021 to January 31 2021 at APS (Primary Wing) Ground, Major General Rajinder Singh Sparrow Road, Jalandhar Cantt. Besides them, the CEE was also meant for women MP candidates from the aforementioned districts who had participated in a recruitment rally in at Kharga Stadium Ambala.
Fresh dates for the army recruitment exam will be communicated later. Meanwhile, candidates have been requested to check the official website for further updates.
Nagaland army recruitment examination postponed
The Common Entrance Exam for army recruitment in Nagaland has also been postponed due to the recent surge in the COVID-19 cases. The examination was going to be held on April 25 at Rangapahar Military Station.
About 10,500 candidates had registered for the exam, and 8,000 attended the recruitment rally at Bhagat Stadium, Dimapur which was conducted from March 10 to 21 March 2021.
Defence PRO Colonel Sumit Kumar Sharma stated that the new date for the examination is yet to be finalised. As soon as that happens, the admit cards for the candidates will be released.
Candidates can apply for Army Dental Corps 2021
The Indian Army Dental Corps allowed candidates to apply for the post of Short Service Commission in 2021. Interested candidates will be allowed to apply for the Army Dental Corps 2021 on or before 18 May 2021 on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in
