In her recent post, she recalled the painful times and that she is happy celebrating life today with her super positive family. Ali made a health update about Lucky Ali on Twitter.

She shared her journey of navigating through the chronic disease and how she managed to stay positive through it on her Instagram account.

In Nafisa Ali's throwback video, she is seen being supported by three nurses as she is trying to walk into her hospital room in pain yet with a smile on her face.

In the caption, she wrote, "This was me 2 years ago after my big Peritoneal cancer surgery. The doctors, the medical team who cared for me and the hospital were amazing as they gave me courage. Happy and celebrating life today with my super positive family." To this post, many fans wrote well wishes and congratulating comments for the actor. Many of them called her 'brave' and a 'role model'.

The actor and social activist, Nafisa Ali is now spending time with her grandson Ayaan. She also shared a few pictures with him on her social media as she wrote, "Just happy being with Ayaan in Delhi," in the caption.
