Kranti Redkar Writes To Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray: Amid the row between NCB office, Sameer Wankhede and Maharashtra NCP leader Nawab Malik escalating, Kranti Redkar Wankhede, Sameer's wife has written an open letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

In her open letter addressed to the CM of Maharashtra, Redkar Wankhede said 'Honourable Uddhav Thackeray sir, I am a Marathi girl who grew up watching Shiv Sena fighting for the equitable rights of Marathi people. I grew up following the example of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray." She spoke about how these leaders taught her that we should not do injustice to anyone and should not tolerate injustice at all.

Further invoking, "If Balasaheb had been there today, he would not have liked it. He is not there today, but you are. We see in you his shadow, his image. You are leading us and I have full faith in you. I am sure you will never let injustice happen to me and my family. So as a Marathi woman, I expect justice from you today. I request you to do justice."

Sameer Wankhede is the NCB official who has been leading the investigation in the Aryan Khan case has been accused of extortion, illegal tapping and forgery of documents. It started when a key witness in the cruise ship controversy alleged he has involved in an extortion bid of Rs 25 crore. Maharashtra NCP leader Nawab Malik today launched attacks against Wankhede, alleging he fraudulently obtained a birth and caste certificate to secure his government job.

Redkar married Wankhede in 2017.
