BJP MP Saroj Pandey Tests Positive For COVID-19, Gets Admitted To AIIMS

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Saroj Pandey tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

She took to Twitter to inform everyone about it. In her tweet, she revealed that she has been admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. She also urged all those people who came in contact with her to get themselves tested. “My reports for COVID-19 have come positive today. In consultation with the doctors, I have been admitted to the AIIMS, Delhi. All the people who have come in contact with me in the last few days please get tested,” MP Saroj Pandey tweeted.

BJP MP Saroj Pandey is among the many politicians to test positive for COVID-19

Apart from BJP MP Saroj Pandey, many other politicians have tested positive for COVID-19. The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan had tested positive for the virus on April 8.  Another BJP MP named Anil Baluni tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, March 13. He too informed his followers on Twitter and advised everyone to take care of themselves. "Friends, today my COVID-19 report has come positive. I have started immediate treatment. COVID-19 cases are increasing. All of you also take care of yourself," he tweeted.

K Annamalai, a BJP nominee from the Aravakkurichi constituency in Tamil Nadu had also tested positive for the virus.

Actor-politician Nagma Morarji tests positive for COVID-19 after taking the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine

Recently, actor-politician Nagma Morarji from the Congress party had tested positive for COVID-19 after she took the first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. She appealed to people to follow all the COVID-19 precautions even after getting vaccinated against the virus. She also urged everyone to not become 'complacent in any manner.'

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had to recently cancel her campaigning schedules after her husband Robert Vadra contracted the virus. In a video, she shared that her doctor advised her to isolate herself even though she had tested negative for the virus.
