#WWC17: Indian Women Knock Down Sri Lanka, Team Sweeps 4th Consecutive Win

A hat-trick wasn't enough! What a brilliant match to watch before the day ends! Indian women cricketers clinched their fourth match of the ICC Women’s World Cup after dominating the pitch today.

The effortless Mithali Raj led the team to a successive win over Sri Lanka. the duo made a 100-run partnership. The team earlier beat England, West Indies and Pakistan. Both Deepti Sharma (78) and Mithali Raj (53) made half-centuries and with that feat India took 232/8 against Sri Lanka  on Wednesday, July 5.

Like Mandhana in other matches, Deepti today won the hearts. India Women won by 16 runs

On the other hand, Dilani Manodara got her second ODI half-century for Sri Lanka!

India now sits at the second spot in points table. Sri Lankans were struggling throughout to win over the game from Indian players but clearly the women in blue dominated the entire show.

India next play Australia on 12th July.
