Actor Sonia Rathee will star in the upcoming web series Broken But Beautiful 3 alongside Sidharth Shukla. The web series is created and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Priyanka Ghose is the director of Broken and Beautiful 3.

Actor and production designer Sonia Rathee will make her debut as an actor in Broken But Beautiful 3. Rathee plays the role of Rumi Desai, a ‘rich and privileged’ actor. Broken But Beautiful 3 also stars Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. Ehan Bhat, Tanoya Kalra, and Saloni Khanna. The web series will air on May 29, 2021, on ALT Balaji and MX Player.

Who Is Sonia Rathee?

1. Sonia Rathee’s leading role as Rumi in Broken But Beautiful 3 marks her acting debut. Before her acting debut, she served as a production designer in Seeking Mr Brown and in The Rat. Rathee was also a part of the makeup department for 100: The Tribute.
2. Rathee said she was “in awe” at how many people enjoyed the trailer for Broken But Beautiful 3.
3. Rathee described her character Rumi as a “20-something girl” that was still figuring out her life. She added that “She is like most of us” and said she loved her character’s feistiness.

5. The 25-year-old is from Haryana and graduated from Princeton University, New Jersey, United States of America.
6. She is the sister of actor Ankur Rathee, known for his appearances in the web series Four More Shots and Made In Heaven.
