Madame X Documentary: American Singer-Songwriter Madonna on Thursday announced the release date of her upcoming documentary Madame X.

She released a music album by the same name in 2019. The documentary chronicles her Madame X tour. It is directed by Ricardo Gomes and includes footage of 48 on-stage performers. It includes the singer's children, musicians and dancers from around the world as well as the all-female Orquestra Batukadeira.

Madame X will be releasing on the streaming platform Paramount+. It offers a glimpse into the personal life of the singer and her work. On Thursday, the ViacomCBS streaming giant said that the documentary will make its debut in the U.S., Latin America, Australia, Nordic countries and Canada starting Oct 8.

It is filmed in Lisbon and captures the singer's rare and rapturous tour performances. The movie will take the "viewers on a journey as compelling and audacious as Madonna's fearless persona Madame X."

Madame X is a secret agent who travels around the world, changes identities, fights for freedom and brings light to dark places. It comes 30 years after the musician's ground-breaking documentary Truth or Dare that chronicled her life during her Blond Ambition world tour. Her album Madame X hit the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart in 2019.

Madonna took to her Instagram handle on Thursday to announce the release date of the film. Sharing a teaser of the movie, she said, "Madame X is finally ready to disturb the peace. Streaming Oct 8th. Paramount+. Are you ready?"

Her fans expressed their excitement for the film in the comments. A user said, "So excited, the teaser is already perfect." Another user wrote, "This is looking so good."
