After weeks of hustle and bustle, TVF (The Viral Fever) CEO and founder Arunabh Kumar, embroiled in a sexual harassment case, was arrested on Saturday, April 22. But turns out, the same day he was bailed out after furnishing a bond of Rs 10,000.
This particular sexual harassment case has taken many twists and turns. After the Dindoshi sessions court in Mumbai granted him an anticipatory bail on April 17, the CEO of the digital entertainment start-up TVF breathed easy for a while. But after the bail expired, he was formally arrested. However, he was released on bail the same day.
Currently, the police are busy filing a chargesheet in the case.

"He was arrested and let out on bail. Investigations are on. We will be filing the chargesheet soon," said DCP Vinayak Deshmukh of Zone X, TOI reports.
Kumar made headlines after he went missing for weeks after the harassment complaints were filed. Later, it was confirmed that he was granted interim protection from arrest. He was booked for molestation after two women came forth and filed complaints against him.

Kumar was booked under sections 354 A (causing sexual harassment) and 509 (intending to outrage a woman’s modesty by indecent words, gesture or acts).
On Saturday, Arunabh was interrogated by the police and arrested.

Interestingly, what started with one anonymous woman blogger – also a former TVF employee -- called The Indian Fowler on blogging site medium.com last month, accusing him of molestation, gradually snowballed with around 50 women taking to social media with similar complaints against Kumar. However, only a handful of formal complaints have been filed against him till date.
Kumar had founded TVF in 2011 and according to TVF's spokesperson, is still working as the functional head of the company.
