Most of us have someone in our life whom we consider our BFF or partner in crime. But when we talk about having a female best friend our perception changes a lot, as it gets filled with all the wrong ideas and baseless myths that are believed about having a female best friend.

A) MYTH:
Two girls can never be best friends, they will always be envious of each other.
REALITY:
The world is full of people with different personalities and beliefs, one might be envious or the other might be generous, It depends on what kind of people we choose to be friends with. So it's completely wrong to believe that two women can't be best friends as they will always be envious of each other because if we choose the right people and put our efforts into creating a strong bond with them, we can always have a friend who will be generous and happy to see us win and achieve without any envy. It all depends on our selection of people and not on one specific gender.
B) MYTH:
Female best friends don't have a bond as strong as male best friends.
REALITY:
It's not a lie that there are some key differences between having a female and a male best friend, as male friendships tend to be more casual and activity-based on the other hand female friends share a more emotional and personal bond. But that doesn't mean that any of them share a bond less strong than the other. How strong a friendship will be, depends solely on the person who is indulged in it.

Female best friends start to avoid each other once they find new friends.
REALITY:
If one has a really strong bond with her best friend then no matter how many people come in between them both, the bond remains constant, with little to no space for ignorance in the presence of others. But if the bond of friendship is not strong then even a single person in between can be enough to destroy it.

Female best-friends bitch about each other behind their back.
REALITY:
There might definitely be some fake people who love to bitch about someone behind their back, but genuine friends are the ones who support and defend us when we are not around. Even male best friends criticise each other at times, so it's all about how genuine a friend is and not about them being a girl or a boy.

Female best friends are never as helpful as male best friends.
REALITY:
May it be a serious life crisis or a fashion emergency, the first person we think of when we need any sort of help is our female best friend. We can always count on them as they are the shoulder we cry on and the brain we rely on for solutions when we are stuck in any sort of trouble, therefore it's completely wrong to think that they are not very helpful.
If you have a female best friend then consider yourself lucky as female friendships are the best. Anyone who says otherwise might not have witnessed the true essence of it or might have not been fortunate enough to have a genuine female best friend.
