She used to live with her parents and sisters. Her mother fought with MS for about ten years and passed away in 1990. She died at the age of 45. At that time K Rowling was only 25 years old. JK Rowling said in an interview that “In the beginning she had not prognosticated that the Clinic would lead the way to the incredible progress being made in the field on neurology. BBC reported that on the matter of donation she said: “I am delighted to see that the Anne Rowling Neurology is reaching a new milestone by creating a legacy of providing better services to people with MS and non-MS neurodegenerative diseases.”
