Lost

She lost it in the park.

Anita was sure of that. Not at home, not in the office.

Not in the long commute from home to office, sitting jammed with people.

When questioned by her friends, a number of times, she wondered at the big interest in her loss.

But she’d have done the same, with another person: keep on asking, but how did you..?

Anita looked again. And again.

At her mirror.

Six months of getting up really early and speed walking in the park.

Amazing how much weight you can lose, once you set your mind to it.
