Out of 71 women Short Service Commission officers who went to Supreme Court, 39 were found eligible for Permanent Commission as seven were found to be medically unfit.
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is prepping up for the admission of female cadets. The government said that women will be able to sit for the entrance exam from May 2022.
