“I believe that cricket is easy to get into and play but difficult to develop in. There are many clubs around that have a women’s side but the strength of every club is varied a lot, therefore, it becomes difficult to improve,” says Middlesex player and coach Bhavika Gajipra.
Sindhu’s career has seen her take some fairly courageous calls— decisions that eventually led her to where she is now: at the helm of an international cricket team.
“Cricket will certainly gain more recognition in Austria in the future,” says Captain of Austrian Women’s National Cricket team, Andrea-Mae Zepeda.
The 27-year-old works as the office superintendent at Agra Railways Records Department and received the news about her recommendation from teammate Smriti Mandana.
