In The Rapist, Konkona Sen Sharma plays a criminal psychology professor in Delhi, who becomes a victim of sexual assault, and proceeds to fight the societal prejudices against the topic.

The Rapist film will be premiering in the ‘A Window on Asian Cinema’ section. The film stars Konkana Sen Sharma, Arjun Rampal and Tanmay Dhanania. 

The Aparna Sen directorial is said to be a “hard-hitting drama that examines how much of society is responsible for producing rapists.”
