According to S. Murugan, the additional Commissioner of Police (ACP), the two-time BJP councillor from Chalavadipalya was attacked by two persons with lethal weapons.

Incidentally, the deceased’s husband, S Kadiresh, was also killed in broad daylight in 2018 in the same area.
