Queen Elizabeth's funeral is set to take place on September 19, Monday at the Westminster Abbey, London. The Westminster Abbey is known to hold a space for around two thousand guests, therefore, the guest list is limited for the Monday state funeral.

The Queen Elizabeth funeral, which will be one of the largest diplomatic gatherings in the world, will see heads of state and royals across the world in attendance. Indian President Droupadi Murmu, who is set to attend the funeral in London will be offering condolences on behalf of the Government of India.

Queen Elizabeth Funeral Arrangements

While several world leaders and foreign royals will be seen attending the Queen's funeral service on Monday, some countries have not been invited for the same. With a massive gathering featuring some big names, London is all set for tight arrangements and secrecy for the day.

According to reports, world leaders have been advised to travel to the UK in commercial planes instead of government planes in case they are flying to Heathrow international airport. The leaders will be escorted in coaches to the Westminster Abbey as they will not be allowed to travel in state cars in town. The leaders attending the funeral have been refrained from bringing their respective spouses along because the Westminster Abbey has a very limited seating capacity.

Queen Elizabeth Funeral Guests

Indian President Droupadi Murmu will mark her presence in London from September 17 to 19 regarding the late Queen's funeral service. US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will also be present at the funeral as per confirmation from the White House. Leaders like Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil and French President Emmanuel Macron are among other attendees. Respective Prime Ministers of Canada, Australia and New Zealand will also be attending the funeral on Monday.

Emperor and Empress of Japan Naruhito and Masako will be flying to the UK to offer their condolences. The royal couple will make making an exception of attending a funeral this time, given that traditionally Emporers in Japan don't attend funerals. Apart from the Royal families of Europe, several other leaders and dignitaries will be seen joining the service, which is currently being planned strategically.

Among the handful of countries not invited, Russia and Belarus are the two not on the guest list.
