Is it not double standards for a country to enjoy explicit content and then cheer when a woman engaged in it is booked? By that logic, doesn’t enjoying porn make the viewers “obscene” too?

Why is Pandey being given this extreme treatment, by authorities and the audience both? Is it because of her image as an “adult” star? Is it because her status as a performer isn’t perceived to be as “clean” or “dignified” as Soman’s supermodel status is?
