The bail plea of Anand Subramanian was heard by Special Judge Sanjeev Aggarwal. The order will be pronounced on March 24.

In 2013, Chitra Ramkrishna was appointed as the first woman managing director and chief executive officer of the National Stock Exchange (NSE). 

Chitra Ramkrishna headed the NSE for five years between 2013 and 2016.

Chitra Ramkrishna and others have been charged by SEBI with alleged governance lapses in the appointment of Subramanian and his outsized promotion.
