Bhagyalakshmi was in news last year for smearing motor oil on Thiruvananthapuram resident and YouTuber Vijay P Nair’s face after he made derogatory remarks on feminists in a video.

The SHRC directed Thiruvananthapuram police to act after it received a complaint from human rights activist Raneesh Kakkadavath regarding the matter.

Women of India are done being insulted. And they are looking for someone who is answerable to them.

Social media are erupted with concerns on both sides. Some are asking if the women should have assaulted, while others are saying what options do women have when men put out derogatory comments on them and no one comes to question such Youtubers.
