For Atishi this comes as a huge redemption after 2019’s Lok Sabha Election which she fought from East Delhi against Gautam Gambhir and lost – a defeat many lamented for Atishi.

“It is very shameful for the citizens of Delhi that when women are progressing all over the world and here we cannot even provide Delhi women with basic safety,” Atishi in a press conference today.
