A man rescued his pet in Tamil Nadu’s Mayiladuthurai district. He was seen rescuing his dog and son in a makeshift boat. The streets were waterlogged and there would have been no refuge for the Indian Pariah had he not been rescued from there. 

Killing a defenseless animal is seen as a solution rather than a heinous crime.

As per a report published in 2021, over five lakh cases of animal cruelty included rape was reported between 2010 and 2020.

This came after her son, Gauravzone’s arrest after the video posted by him sparked outrage on social media.
