As the community of women bikers is steadily increasing in India, Sonia chose this adventure sport to prove the point that women, too, can own a Triumph Storm. She took the liberty to ride in each bike for a minimum of 5 km to 500 km. The roady-at-heart has motorbikes with horsepower ranging from 60 cc-63 kg Sunny to 1811 cc-360 kg Indian Roadmaster.

Sonia began pursuing her passion of being a fierce motorcyclist and rally racer right after her education. Sonia won 'The India Bike Rally' (2009), organized by Yamaha and BIGADDA, just to be able to win a bike. Since then, there was no stopping her.

When asked about how this passion keeps her busy, Sonia told India Today, "This is indeed a very big deal for me and I am thankful for all the opportunities I have received. When you are passionate and believe in something so strongly, it works as your strength and pulls you up to make you a stronger and better person. That's exactly how I feel about my sport. My passion keeps me happy, healthy and focused. I have been in this profession for 8 years and I look forward to learning something new every day. I still have a long way to go and many new roads to tread."

Jain even participated in MTV 'Chase the Monsoon' Season 4 which took her 3000 km from Shimla to Ooty as part of the show on her two-wheeler. Some of the other machines she has ridden include the 1811 cc Indian Roadmaster, HD Roadking, Ducati Monster, Hayabusa and Yamaha MT01, to name a few. Among vintage motorcycles, Sonia has ridden Ariel, BMW R69, Rajdoot GTS 175/ Bobby and Triumph 1942 3HW.
