Priyanka Chopra is presenter at 88th Oscars night

'The Academy' of motion picture arts and science has revealed that Priyanka Chopra is going to be one of the presenters at the 88th Oscars that are going to be held on 28th February, 2016 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. She is the first Indian to ever do so! Before this, we have only seen film nominations, it's  only for the first time that someone is on the presenting side. She is going to be rubbing shoulders with big Hollywood names like Steve Carrell, Reese WitherSpoon, Kerry Washington, JK Simmons, Jullianne Moore and the likes of them.

The Academy's website quoted OSCAR Producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin saying,"These artists have enriched the international movie-going experience with a range of memorable work from the comic to the profound. In the process, they have won over millions of fans, and we count ourselves among them."

With this move, Priyanka Chopra has gained visibility through the world's most revered platform for entertainment honor with a global audience spread over 225 countries. The show will be telecasted live through ABC Network and hosted by world famous artist and comedian, Chris Rock.

Somewhere between her insane travel between Hollywood and Bollywood, Priyanka found the time to find the release. She had just come out of being the cynosure at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Hollywood, where her pink dress and fuchsia lips got everybody raising a brow. Somewhere post late night and before early morning (in Indian Time) she tweeted:

"Looking forward @TheAcademy !! This will be an insaaaane night!"
