A meeting of the party’s 11 MLAs and MP with the chief minister took place to decide what to do about the issue.

Shrestha Thakur, who's courage we admire, was just following her duty when she stopped a BJP leader who was riding a scooter without a helmet. Pramod Kumar, the person riding the bike identified himself as a BJP leader and started arguing with the cop. Soon, a crowd formed and the lady cop told them that she is not afraid and that she is just doing her duties. Pramod alleged that he had been asked to pay a bribe of Rs. 2000 to the cop, when she was just asking him to pay the fine for not wearing his helmet while riding.

Party city president, Mukesh Bhardwaj even admitted to the fact that Shrestha Thakur's transfer was important because it would help keep the party pride alive in the workers and leaders

A sad example of bureaucracy where party workers were taken into consideration rather than a hardworking and honest police woman? In fact, the party city president, Mukesh Bhardwaj even admitted to the fact that Shrestha Thakur's transfer was important because it would help keep the party pride alive in the workers and leaders there. He even charged Thakur for using objectionable language against CM Yogi Adityanath and other party workers and leaders.

In the video that went viral, Shrestha Thakur was seen saying, “You please go and get written orders from the Chief Minister that the police have no right to check vehicles… that we can’t do our job."
