1. Soumili Biswas studied in Bharati Girls' School in Behala and graduated in Economics from Jogamaya Devi college, a women's college under Calcutta University.
2. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. Her training began from the age of three under Thankamini Kutty.
3. She also learnt Ballet from Mamata Shankar. Biswas performs regularly in dance dramas and also in solo and group classical performances both in Kolkata and elsewhere.
4. The actor has also received the Sangeet Ratna and Sangeet Bibhakar awards in Bharatnatyam.
5. In Sep 2020, Soumili Biswas tested positive for Covid-19. The actor took to social media to break the news. She wrote, "I have tested Covid positive with mild symptoms and have been home isolated. My husband has been tested and found negative. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 12 days are requested to please get themselves tested!
