Rampur rape case: In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur a 14-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped from her home and gangraped by five men. The accused men are her neighbours. It was Sunday night when the minor Dalit girl was sleeping in her house when five men forcibly entered, stuffed a piece of cloth in her mouth and took her away.
According to the minor girl’s father, the men allegedly took her to a shop owned by one of the accused and raped her there. They later dropped the unconscious girl near their house, TOI quoted him as saying. “After regaining consciousness, she returned home on Monday and narrated everything,” he added. She then told her family about the alleged sexual assault, the police said and the family members registered a complaint.
Police mentioned that the accused have been identified as Waseem, Najeeb, Shafeeq, Nazim and Sanib. However, according to them, the girl’s medical examination was conducted and no evidence of sexual assault has been found. All the five accused have been booked, police said and one accused has been detained for interrogation. As per reports, among those named in the complaint by the survivor’s father include the former Pradhan’s son and a medical student who recently returned from Russia.
