Product from the collaboration of William Pharrell with a sports label has set a new goal for women empowerment. The latest edition of the sneakers, released by the collab on October 2, promotes a campaign known as ‘Now Is Her Time’. A video about the campaign released by Pharrell and the label states, “Now is her time to be powerful. Now is her time to run the world. Now is her time to teach us all. Now is her time to equalise the playing field. Now is her time to stand up for her right to choose.” Therefore, as a part of the campaign, the featured images of models promoting the new unisex sneakers are inclusive of pregnant women, breastfeeding moms and the period activists.

Besides being a model, Isabella is a co-founder of Style Saves which is a Miami-based non-profit organisation that provides uniforms and other supplies to local school students. 21-year-old Nadya Okamoto who has been featured in the promotions is a non-profit leader and founder of period.org.

After being a part of the campaign, Okamoto said, “An empowered voice sounds confident, determined and unapologetic about who they are and what their mission is.”

Activist: Patrisse Cullors spoke about the importance of finding your voice as a woman - even when you're scared and shaking

The co-founder of Black Lives Matter, 35-years-old Patrisse Cullors has also been featured in the promotions that support women empowerment. She said, “An empowered voice sounds like talking even when your voice is shaking. Talking even when you're scared and afraid. Talking even when everybody else has told you that you shouldn't be talking.”

Tyra Mitchell, who has been featured in the promotions with her two children, is an artist and the founder of Art Mom Project. Expressing her delight and gratitude on Instagram for being featured in the campaign, she said, “This day was so inspiring to be featured alongside so many incredible, trailblazing humans. I've honestly only dreamt of things like this happening, but here we are!”

27-year-old singer Syd Bennet also spoke about her views of women empowerment. She said, “It's been an uphill battle for women for a long time. I influence the human race by looking at myself as a human first, and an artist, producer, creative person, whatever my career is, second.”

Nada Vasiligevic, and Australian model and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star Pania Rose, gracefully showcased their baby bump in the feature image with love and pride.

Sine the new collection of sneakers are unisex, male models have also been featured in the promotions. Father of one and singer, William Pharrell said, “Now is my time to show gratitude to women. When will women recognise their incredible power and say ‘We're not taking this anymore?’”

In response to this, Patrisse Cullor said that to bring a change in millions of people, the start should be from a small number of people that enact and inspire the change.
