As the winter sets in the morning sun is what we all love basking in. It probably is the best time of the day to sweat out. And what about your beloved pets? Do they not deserve to experience the adrenaline rush? Taking the idea forward, a lot of Mumbaikars grabbed the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and indulge in some fitness activities along with their pet dogs.

It was the second edition of the Sai Celebration Run & Petathon powered by Trailblazers. Pink Owl was the event curator.

The Petathon served a great opportunity for pet parents to step out of their houses and run with their dogs. Besides some great human-dog bonding moments, the petathon saw a lot of stalls for pampering dogs, from bakeries to fresh juice and accessories.

“We always think of curating some fun events and this time we got an opportunity to curate something for pets. Since people are so particular about fitness of themselves, doing something related to fitness for the pets sounded really fun. Sai Celebration Run & petathon that happened on a smaller scale last year, fortunately got an overwhelming response this year. The awareness of such events is increasing, says Neha Madan, Co- founder of Pink Owl, talking about curating the petathon.

"There was a spa, parlours for their grooming, relaxing stalls for dogs, ice creams and yogurts for their pampering", she adds.

The petathon included a one mile run for the canines. Also, there were around 25 stalls and medals for all those who completed the run successfully. The organisers made sure that the pets were made to relax after the successful run.

Actress and parent of two beagles Gul Panag also attended the event.

Practicing fitness with your dogs is definitely a great idea that must be incorporated by pet parents in their daily routine. Moreover, our furry friends have the right to de-stress and get some pampering.
