Tracking celebrity wedding news is always a top trend. Just like during wedding season every year, fans are looking out for who is tying the knot with whom and where, this year as well. For 2021, the topmost on this list is actor duo Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. As per the grapevine, they are all set to get hitched next week in Mumbai. So far we have no official news on the wedding.
The couple will reportedly have a court marriage first and the festivities will take place in Rajasthan. Earlier in 2018, Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas had a lavish 3-day wedding in Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. It reportedly made up for three months of the hotel’s revenue, with Chopra and Jonas spending a whopping Rs 3,27,61,656 (USD 4,61,000) on the hotel. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal Wedding Venue
The wedding festivities are reportedly to take place in Six Senses Fort Barwara. The cost of a room at this place is approximately Rs 77,000 per night. The venue is a 14th-century fort turned into a 48-suite resort, located 130 km from state capital Jaipur and 30-minutes from the Ranthambore National Park.
It has also been reported that special henna from Rajasthan has been brought in for Katrina Kaif’s Mehandi ceremony and apparently costs one lakh rupees. Many of the couple’s fans have been seen talking about the rumoured marriage but the couple has not confirmed the same as of yet.
It is being reported that Kaif in charge of the wedding preparations. Beau Vicky is busy shooting. Vicky’s mother Veena Kaushal and brother Sunny are helping her out. They are also helping the groom select the perfect wedding look.
Like another actor duo, Deepika and Ranveer Katrina and Vicky will also have a no-phone policy at their wedding. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married at Villa del Balbianello Lake Como, Italy in 2018. It is believed that the wedding expenditure was a whopping Rs. 77 Crores. On the no phone policy Padukone had later commented, “Privacy was secondary. The reason we asked our guests not to have cell phones was that we wanted them to be present at the moment. Usually, everyone is on their cell phones, capturing the moment.”
The couple will reportedly wear ensembles designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee who also designed the attire for Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. They got married at Chandigarh’s The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort earlier this week. Patralekhaa’s wedding outfit had a veil that had a Bengali verse inscribed, “Amar poran bhora bhalobasha aami tomay shomorpon korilam (I surrender my heart filled with love to you).”
As per reports Karan Johar, Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur, Rohit Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are part of the guest list among others. Many expressed curiousness over Salman Khan’s attendance in the wedding since the actor is Kaif’s ex. Khan’s father gave his statement to the media regarding this and said, “What should he say about it since the media is left with only such issues to talk about.”
