A Karnataka newspaper delivery girl is keeping her father's legacy alive after his death from COVID-19. Lavanya is only 18 years old and a first-year engineering college student. Juggling her academic and work life, the teen is honouring her late parent by continuing what he started.

As reported by India Today, Lavanya resides with her family in Tumkur district. To make her father proud, she bikes the routes he delivered newspapers on and carries forward the job he did.
Karnataka, during the second COVID-19 wave in the country, is one of the hardest-hit, recording a daily rise of 25,311 fresh infections and 529 deaths, as of May 25.
