Woman dies on video call: A woman in Hyderabad reportedly ended her life while on a video call with her husband, reports said Thursday. The couple had been married for a year and were allegedly arguing over the phone after which the tragedy occurred.
According to reports by Telangana Today, the 25-year-old woman identified as Naga Devi lived in Rajendranagar while her husband worked with a multinational in Bengaluru, where he was staying. Over a WhatsApp video call on September 1, the couple allegedly had a quarrel with Naga Devi claiming her husband wasn’t tending to her well, police said.
“She hanged herself to the ceiling fan in the house while he was watching,” the Station House Officer of Rajendranagar was quoted saying.
