Priyanka Chopra was in attendance to watch her friend Meghan Markle tie the knot with Prince Harry during the year's most awaited wedding. Priyanka, who is a close friend of the bride was elated to have been at the #RoyalWedding for her friend on her big day.

The Royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry hosted a wide array of celebrity guests. Amongst the guests was one of Markle's closest friends, Priyanka Chopra.
She arrived in London a day in advance for the couple’s Saturday nuptials. She shared a glimpse of all the fun she was upto, few hours before the wedding.
Earlier in the day, Chopra arrived at St. George's Chapel in the chicest lavender suit by Vivienne Westwood. Dressed formally, the star herself looked quite the royal. Chopra's stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, took to Instagram to share photos of the star's look for the wedding ceremony.
For the evening reception, Chopra opted for an embellished off-the-shoulder gown from Christian Dior’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection.
Chopra took to Instagram to share the bride and groom's beautiful photos from the wedding. She wrote that the wedding will go down in history not only because of the royalty involved, but also for the hope and change that it stood for.

Other celebrity guests included Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham. Also in attendance were Elton John, actors of TV show 'Suits', singer James Blunt, Idris Elba and Serena Williams. The celebs arrived in style to celebrate the royal union of former Suits star Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Priyanka, Meghan and their bond at its best
Meghan and Priyanka had first met in 2016 for a Women for TV event in Los Angeles. Earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra wrote an essay for Meghan Markle to accompany her mention on the Time Magazine's 2018 list of 100 Most Influential People. She wrote:
"Somewhere among biryani, poutine and endless conversations, I realized just how deeply Meghan Markle cares for the world. With her, what you see is real, and what you get is a relatable young woman with her heart and mind in the right place. Her compassion, evident in the causes she supports, and her drive to break down stereotypes—obvious in her actions—will connect her to a generation in much need of kindness. Priyanka has always been supportive of Markle. During an interview on The Wendy Williams Show, Chopra was quick to correct the daytime talk show host when she referred to Markle as "Prince Harry's girlfriend". The actor responded, "Also, Meghan Markle: actress, Suits, her achievements". With this, Priyanka ensured that Markle was more than just Harry's girlfriend.
Priyanka and Markle have a lot in common, including humanitarian work and supporting gender equality. Looking at their life, it seems, something that connects them at a major level is their constant effort for change.
