Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ex-girlfriend Sunita Rajwar has now filed legal case against him, asking for Rs 2 crore as compensation for exposing their relationship in public.
Those of you who are unaware, Nawazuddin had recently published his biography 'An Ordinary Life'. But he faced backlash for revealing details about his former co-stars and love interests. Things went south and the actor had to withdraw his memoir. Though the Gangs of Wasseypur star had earlier publicly apologized for hurting sentiments but it wasn’t enough to save him from legal trouble.
Sunita, who is out of touch with Nawaz for the last 16 years, says, “I am taking legal action because the damage is already done and it’s irreversible.”

It was actress Niharika Singh who first criticised him for exposing their personal affair. Now Sunita, his "first love" has decided to take him to court.

Sunita was apparently Nawazuddin’s junior at the National School of Drama and his ‘first love’
When asked her about the matter, Sunita told Indian Express, “I was not in town when this news cropped up, but when my friend told me about it, I was shocked. I ordered a copy for myself and read what he had written. It is disturbing, how he was written such fabricated stories. I couldn’t believe he could do something like that. I am also an actor. I might not be as big as him, but I am happy with what I do. I am content. He cannot ruin it all for me. My family was shocked when they heard of this. I live in Mumbai with my husband, and I filed a complaint against Nawaz because I want to make sure that he knows that just because he is a big guy now, doesn’t mean he can act out of his fancy.”

At the moment, Sunita is firm on her stand. “After reading what he wrote, I dislike him totally. I can’t use that money for personal use. I want to give it all to some charity that works for women's empowerment. I want to send across a message to all -- that women should speak up and not bow down in front of power. Why two crore rupees? you may ask. It is because the compensation should pinch him, for his lies and malice. He had said in one of his tweets that he is withdrawing his book, but it is available online. I ordered two copies to check for myself. He has just proved that he can lie and how.”
