O Broken Star

O broken star in the vault of sky
I heard you grant a wish for all
If this is sort of true good gen,
Why don’t you bless the needy men?
The weeping child and thirsty child,
And that one cadging on the slum roadside.
The newborn left for the food of pig,
And that one dreaming of a family big.
The diligent man who came to naught,
And one who works on nothing but aught.
The one who lost the hope of all,
And one who wants others to fall.
The girl who screams to save herself,
And one with dreams just kept on shelf.
The girl who lies with clothes all torn,
And one who died for a girl being born.
But If we can ask a star for help,
Why don’t we go for help ourself?
The World is full of people in want,
All we should do is help not daunt.
Just close your eyes and think for once,
What if you help the one nonplus?
And ask others to do the same,
With genuine attempt, no excuses lame.
How wonderfully this world will change,
With all living in a good big menage.
And no one looking at the sky for help,
With everyone helping in each others pain.
