R. Balki is churning up a masterpiece yet again and this time he's challenging gender roles set for the Kis (Females) and Kas (Males) of the country. His upcoming movie 'Ki and Ka' stars Arjun Kapoor playing the Man of the house, who cooks and cleans and waits for the return of his spouse. Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing the young achiever, a woman with dreams, now in love with a supportive and sacrificing man.

Speaking on the issue of gender reversal roles, Arjun Kapoor feels that the homemakers are not given their due in the society and his upcoming film Ki And Ka will begin conversations about them.

"The film deals with a boy who believes housewives have not got their due. If you don't have stability in your personal life through your partner then you cannot achieve anything professionally," Arjun said in an interview.

"Housewives run the home and sacrifice a lot but many people forget that. The guy in the film wants to be a home maker because he believes women make home and fulfill dreams. It's a very emotional issue," he added.

Kapoor insists that women who want to work should be given the choice to do that. If you decide to work even after getting married then men should be perfectly alright with that idea. It's a woman's choice if she wants to continue, it shouldn't be enforced, Kapoor asserts.

This movie is a breath of fresh air and one which every feminist and working woman will dearly look forward to.
