The first time I took my toddler to the supermarket was when she was two years old. Until then, I had been reluctant to take her because I knew that I would end up running behind her throughout the store instead of shopping.

It is high time we stop considering love a seditious feeling. We need to fall in love with the idea of love and as they say – rise in the relationship based on love.

Self love for me is a journey and something that I still struggle with – there’s some days when I make great progress, other times there are also detours where I give into self doubt.

I didn’t love my body. At an age when people explore their sexuality, I would avoid even touching myself altogether.
