Sonali Phogat is drawing flack on social media after was seen throwing used food boxes on Nikki Tamboli's bed in Bigg Boss 14's latest episode. While Tamboli got the audience's support, Phogat has since been called an 'attention seeker' and 'awful' person.

Tamboli called Phogat "badtameez and ghatiya aurat" and said that she disrespected food, which is highly unacceptable.

Who is Sonali Phogat?

Sonali Phogat entered the Bigg Boss house as a wild card entry contestant. The 40-year-old Tik Tok influencer hails from Bhuthan Village, Fatehabad in Haryana. She was married to Sanjay Phogat who died at his farmhouse in Hisar, in 2016. She is now a single parent to her a daughter, Yashodhra Phogat.  The National Vice President of BJP's Mahila Morcha, Phogat joined Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the year 2008 and also contested in Haryana Assembly Elections from Adampur in 2019. However, she lost to Congress party leader Kuldeep Bishnoi.

Popularly known as a 'Dabang Jaat Leader' in Haryana, Phogat started her career in television as an anchor for a regional show on Doordarshan in the year 2006. She was also seen in a serial called Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma in 2016. She then acted in the film Chhoriyan Chhoron S Kam Nahi Hoti. She also appeared in a web series called The Story Of Badmashgarh (2019).

In June 2020, Phogat stirred controversy when she was seen hitting Balsamand market secretary Sultan Singh with a slipper. The video of this incident went viral and she then claimed that Singh had used explicit language against her.

Who is Nikki Tamboli?

Nikki Tamboli is a South Indian actress, who has worked in films like as Thippara Meesam, Kanchana 3 and Chikati Gadhilo Chithakkotudu. In an interview, Tamboli says she picked Big Boss over Bollywood debut because it helps her connect with fans. “I am going only for my fans who want to know who is Nikki Tamboli? How is her nature?
