The fest will provide a forum for women writers and a few men, from varied fields, be it script writing, blogging, books, theatre and more, to come together and discuss issues that are important to modern women. This festival aims to focus the dialogue around women writers who are breaking new ground in content, style, and storytelling. In this edition of the SheThePeople Women Writers Fest, we will have fabulous speakers &  accomplished writers and creators discussing a range of diverse topics.

The diverse range of participants on each panel will make for rich discussions on the sexism in our news, writing on food and flavours, taking the personal narrative into public, fiction that journeys into the mind, the art and craft of blogging in collaboration with Blogchatter, poetry recitations, along with fireside conversations with acclaimed authors like K R Meera and is sure to inspire imagination, conversation and ultimately, change.

Confirmed speakers so far include Snigdha Poonam, Poonam Saxena, Ghazala Jamil, Seema Mustafa, Sujata Parashar, Himanjali Sankar Ruchi Kokcha, Anoo Bhuyan, Kiranjeet Chaturvedi, Saba Bashir, Zarreen Khan, Priyanka Sahgal, Ashwani Kumar, Anamika, Marryam Reshii, Pallavi Nigam, Kavita Devgan, Shaili Chopra and Kiran Manral amongst others. The anchor for the day is Saumya Kulshreshtha.
