Cyanotype is an immersive hands-on workshop that introduces the participants to the basics of the Cyanotype Prints. You will learn how to mix light-sensitive chemistry, how to sensitize, expose, and process your own images, creating beautiful cyanotype prints and also learn about the brief history of the process. Cyanotype yields beautiful results and is a fairly simple and fun process to do that can encourage almost anyone to become an artist, even if for a day!

The Cyanotype Workshop aims at taking people back in time, to the era when the sheer joy of photography meant not just taking pictures with the camera, but also creating the prints in a physical form – something that was lost with the digital era. Watching a print appear in front of your eyes is like magic!

15th March, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm At Museo Camera Centre for the Photographic Arts

The cost includes all the chemicals, development of the negatives from digital images, paper, tools, use of dark room plus an instructor hence with it is not possible to reduce the cost further. The participants will need to provide 4 high quality images beforehand(at least 5 days in advance) which will be converted into negatives. These negatives will be then used for creating your own prints.
