Kamala Harris jacket: Earlier this month, United States Vice President Kamala Harris had become the first sitting VP of the country to march in a pride event. However, this wasn't her first ever pride event attendance. On June 29 Harris shared a video from her Instagram in which she could be seen greeting a Pride gathering wearing a pride jacket. While the video seems to be from a 2019 event, Harris' jacket received much love in its recent online appearance.

In the video, VP Harris is seen sporting a jacket in Pride colours, decked with rhinestones. She teamed up the jacket with white pants and sneakers. Her post is flooded with appreciation for her choice of ensemble and even celebs can't keep themselves from commenting about it. "I need this jackets," commented actor-writer-producer Mindy Kaling.

In the video, Harris is not seen wearing a mask, although she is on stage alone, maintaining appropriate distance from the crowd. However, people who have gathered to greet the US VP is seen sans mask. Which leads one to believe that this isn't a recent video and is infact from a pride event that she attended in 2019, where her pride jacket made its debut.

As of June 29, close to 46.4 percent of the US population is fully vaccinated against, while 54.2 percent of the population has received at least one shot against COVID-19. WHO has infact now advised fully vaccinated people to continue wearing a mask as well. Keeping that in mind, it seems highly unlikely that the video is from a recent gathering. How effective are vaccines against the Delta variant of COVID-19? Find out here.
