Tanya Fear missing case: British writer, standup artist and Doctor Who actor Tanya Fear is missing from her home in Los Angeles, California, reports said Sunday. She was last seen September 9, Thursday. Her family filed a complaint with the police, her manager confirmed, and a missing person report was prepared the same day.

Concerns are growing with friends and family of Fear appealing for help in her search online. Fans of British science fiction show Doctor Who, on which Fear appeared as Dr. Jade McIntyre for an episode in 2018, are also circulating missing persons posters and '#FindTanyaFear' is trending on social media.

Concerns Grow As Tanya Fear Missing: What You Should Know About The Case
1. Fear's manager, Alex Cole, was quoted saying by NBC Newsthat her missing status came as a "shock." He said he spoke to her eight days ago and they discussed work. Fear's parents reportedly approached LA police with a complaint the same day their daughter is said to have gone missing.
2. Fear was last seen on September 9 in the Hollywood Bowl Area. Reports said she was "wearing a brown short sleeve fitted top and dark plaid bottoms" when she went missing. Author Babalola in a tweet said Fear's "hair was natural, in its afro state" that day.
3. Fear was reportedly in LA for the last two months and as per her social media profiles, was performing standup comedy. On Instagram, her last post was made on August 31, in which she wrote about having her first show at LA's famous HaHa Comedy Club.
4. A woman identifying as Fear's cousin, in a tweet that is doing round, says Fear has "no family in the US" and that they were all worried. Another woman claiming to be a cousin updated on social media that Fear was last seen at grocery store Trader Joe's on Santa Monica Boulevard.
