Delhi Police arrested a 17-year-old boy for allegedly raping and killing a woman in Dwarka area, as per reports.

The police have stated that they were informed about a woman's dead body found in a drain near the garbage in the area on November 15. During the probe, the arrested one accused on the charge of murder on November 17.
Delhi Dwarka Rape And Murder Case:
As per reports, the accused later confessed to the police that had also raped the woman before killing her. To save himself from being caught, the man allegedly strangled the woman and set her private parts on fire to destroy the evidence.
The special team of police started investigation the case by circulating the deceased woman's photograph on Whatsapp groups. This is how the woman's family was reached, as per reports. The officials are also going to question 2,700 people during the investigation of the case. The CCTV footage of the area have also been checked. The police have also added the sections of rape. Although the post-mortem report has not been received by the police yet.

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped on October 22 by her neighbour in Delhi’s Ranjit Nagar area. The Delhi Commission For Women chief Swati Maliwal issued a notice to the Delhi Police in the matter.

As per reports, the suspect in the case is in his 20s. Maliwal, in the notice, said, “The Delhi Commission for Women has received information regarding the rape of a girl child in Ranjeet Nagar area of Delhi on 22.10.2021. The Corrunission has been informed that a 7-year-old girl was lured by a man who offered her a 10 rupee note and thereafter raped her brutally.” She added that the father of the girl took her to a nearby hospital but her bleeding did not stop so she was taken to another hospital and is in critical condition.
