SheThePeople.Tv spoke to young women to know about their rendezvous with the sea-side and how it makes them feel.

Full of lessons

"My first-ever experience at the beach was a mix of emotions. The tides of the ocean and the roar of the waves give you a feeling of strength. Actually, one can learn a lot of things when you're at the beach, you learn how to detach yourself from everything and stay your true self the way the ocean leaves everything at the seashore and waves back," says Gurugram resident Karishma Verma, working as an air-hostess.

Wakes up the child in me

Anchal Goswami, a Ghaziabad resident currently working as an intern with Delhi Women Commission, says, "The feeling I get when I'm on a beach can't be compared with anything else in this world. The waves and the breeze feed my hungry soul. My chaotic thoughts turn into beautiful poetry when I sit and stare at the beauty of sunset. We all have that little child inside us sleeping. Beach wakes up the child in me to make castles in the sand. Sometimes, I cry and other times I just sit silently to hear the stories of waves crashing the stones. I feel that my mind is empty and my soul is filled up with positivity."
