Kiran Manral

An award winning, bestselling author, TEDx speaker, columnist and mentor, Kiran Manral is currently Ideas Editor with SheThePeople.TV, and the co-curator of the Women Writers’ Fest by SheThePeople.TV. In previous avatars, she has been a journalist, India Cultural Fluent and Trend spotter, Qualitative Market Researcher and entrepreneur. She was awarded the Women Achievers Award by Young Environmentalists Association in 2013 and was nominated for the Femina Women Awards for Literary Contribution in 2017. The Indian Council of UN Relations (ICUNR) in association with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, awarded her the International Women’s Day Award 2018 for excellence in the field of writing. Her novella, 'Saving Maya', was long-listed for the 2018 Saboteur Award supported by the Arts Council, UK. Her novels 'The Face At the Window’ and ‘Missing, Presumed Dead' were both long-listed for Jio MAMI Word to Screen. Her other books include 'The Reluctant Detective', 'Once Upon A Crush', 'All Aboard', 'Karmic Kids-The Story of Parenting Nobody Told You', 'A Boy’s Guide to Growing Up', 'True Love Stories', 'Saving Maya' and ’13 Steps to Bloody Good Parenting’ (co-authored with Ashwin Sanghi).
